Partner Mr. Sullivan has a broad practice devoted principally to civil trial and appellate litigation . He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, in a variety of contexts, with particular emphasis on tort and business litigation. His tort practice consists primarily of defending health care, legal, design, construction, and other professionals against malpractice claims. His business litigation practice focuses on construction, real estate, and land use disputes. He also provides general counsel to a local engineering-design firm and other companies. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island; he has tried cases in the Superior, District, and Housing Courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Superior, District, and Worker's Compensation Courts of the State of Rhode Island; and he has argued appeals before the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Supreme Court of the State of Rhode Island, and the Supreme Court of Connecticut, and has served as counsel of record in many reported cases from these and other courts. |
