Partner Mr. Sullivan has a broad practice devoted principally to civil trial and appellate litigation. He represents plaintiffs and defendants in Massachusetts and Rhode Island courts, in a variety of contexts, with emphasis on business litigation and the defense of professional malpractice claims. His business practice focuses on construction, real estate, and insurance disputes. In the malpractice area, he has defended construction, design, health care, legal and other professionals against various and sundry claims. He has handled a number of jury and bench trials in Massachusetts and Rhode Island; he has argued appeals in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and the Supreme Courts of Rhode Island and Connecticut; he has handled many arbitrations and mediations; and, he provides general counsel to a number of businesses. |
