Partner

Ms. McGrane is a litigation attorney with a wide range of experience in civil and criminal matters in both the private and public sector. Her civil practice includes business litigation, employment counseling, ERISA litigation, and construction litigation. She is also trained and certified as a mediator.

Prior to joining Conn Kavanaugh, Ms. McGrane was the Deputy Bureau Chief, Business and Labor Protection Bureau of the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office. The Bureau consisted of the Fair Labor and Business Practices Division, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, and the Insurance and Unemployment Fraud Division.  Ms McGrane is also a former in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 high technology company where she was responsible for handling litigation and disputes involving employment and benefits matters, contracts, licensing, anti-trust issues, securities, and intellectual property.  In addition, she was a Junior Partner in the litigation group of a major Boston law firm.

 Ms. McGrane was recognized as a “Massachusetts Super Lawyer” (top 5% of Massachusetts) by the publishers of Boston Magazine in 2011.
