While certain cases involve straightforward personal injury claims, others include wrongful death and serious and complicated economic loss. We are familiar with, and regularly utilize, outside expert consultants in various medical and scientific fields to optimize results for our clients. Additionally, we are seasoned at pursuing or defending the range of business tort actions that can arise, such as interference with a contractual relationship, nuisance, and lost profit claims. Health Care We have extensive experience in defending providers of health care of all kinds both in civil lawsuits and in regulatory inquiries. SubrogationOver the years Conn Kavanaugh both has defended and prosecuted subrogation matters, most of which involve large property damage losses. These cases often require the use of highly technical experts to advance or defend a liability claim, as well as appropriate analysis of property damage/valuation issues. In addition to traditional subrogation cases, Conn Kavanaugh also commonly represents parties seeking to enforce contribution, indemnity, or right to defense claims, including clients outside the insurance industry.
